
We just watched the new “The Karate Kid”, with Will Smith’s son, Jaden Smith (Dre Parker)... Actually, it’s a little different from the old version, which is also very inspiring!
In this version, the “hero kid” learns to fight ‘kung fu’ to defend himself from some Chinese children ‘bigger than him’.
Jackie Chan’s character, Mr. Han, is the kid’s teacher, and following the same philosophy of the original movie (http://www.slideshare.net/bright9977/10-great-lessons-from-the-karate-kid-1984-movie - "Test everything; hold fast what is good." I Thessalonians 5:21), Mr. Han gives his apprentice lessons for the whole life!
I believe that the best lesson from the movie is about discipline.

If you have a dream, you must focus on making it more real every day… Step by step… Brick by brick!
