“Knight and Day”

Suffering unites people. It sounds like a “cliché”, but it’s a big Truth!

When people are influenced by similar situations, they get closer to each other... Not only because of the situations, but because of a higher and better meaning of life that actually needs some “obstacles” to be achieved. (Colossians 1, Colossians 2:9, 10, John 1:1-3, Isaiah 45, Romans 11:36, II Corinthians 12:10, Job 2:9, 10, Job 42, Hebrews 4:15, 16 and Romans 8:28, 37)

That happens to us, Christians, all the time! (I Peter 5:6-11)

We all go through “vicissitudes of human existence” and we need each other to share experiences, points of view and many other good things. (Psalm 133 and John 17:19-23)

We need to grow together… As One People, united in Jesus, our main Goal.

“Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews 12:2

“And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.” II Corinthians 3:18 (Romans 12:1-3)

Looking at my own life, especially the past 5 years (since I got married and everything), man, my life has been an "Adventure"... An Awesome Adventure, with more victories than obstacles… God always gives us much more than we can ever imagine! (Ephesians 5:25, I Corinthians 2:9 and Ephesians 3:16-21)

And what have all these words got to do with the movie? Lots of things!

In the movie, Tom Cruise’s character (Roy Miller) is a secret agent running away from people who want to destroy him. (… for us, Christians, these people can represent satan and his demons, which are real, according to the Bible – Exodus 7, Exodus 8, Acts 16:16-18, Hebrews 11, Galatians 3:11, I John 5:18-21, Ephesians 6, I Peter 5:6-11, II Corinthians 10, Mark 5, Luke 10:19-22 and Colossians 2:9, 10, 15). And then he meets June Havens (Cameron Diaz), who makes his life way better, despite the "hard times" they have to face together. In my opinion, they can represent the Church United in Jesus.

When we're together (the Body of Christ - I Corinthians 12:27), everything becomes easier, every gain becomes bigger, everything matters, every moment is especially unique! 

And that's what the Kingdom of God is all about (Matthew 6:33, Romans 14:17-19 and Luke 17:21)… To share our joy… Our infinite pleasure of Living in Christ from now, here on Earth till Eternity! Ps. : In the movie, they use weapons… But our only “weapons” as Christians are Faith, Love and The Word of God in Jesus Christ! Purely and Simply! (Luke 24:44, John 3, Romans 10 and Matthew 22:36-40)
